
André Almeida Rodrigues is a Portuguese filmmaker, born in Leça do Balio and based in Senhora da Hora. His films have received awards and been screened in more than 40 countries. His work explores memory, everyday life, and the relationship between people and places. He is also the creator and the director of Moinho Cine Fest, an international film festival.
He develops an intimate and observational cinema, focused on real stories and discreet characters that reveal the identity of communities and territories. His documentary and fiction films have been internationally recognised and screened at national and international festivals.
